Check out my new playroom!

We have finally finished Maddy's playroom. After many grand ideas about what to do, some of which included a painted mural on the wall, we kept it simple.....some curtains, some pictures and of course, many many toys! The only stipulation that Joe placed on the decoration of this room was that it was not covered with the color pink, flowers, and what he called girly decor. These rules were put into place in the future hopes that maybe in a couple of years a baby boy would be playing in there too. This space is particularly important to us because it means there are not toys in every other room in the house. This room was one of the main reasons we bought the house we did. I specifically wanted a room off the family room solely for this purpose. Maddy spends a lot of time in there cooking in her huge kitchen, playing with her dolls, and reading lots of books.
